Custom Dimensions
If you would like to add a dimension to your drawing that is not any of our predefined properties, you can create the dimension.
Right Click on the blank space in the scene and on the top right is the 'Draw Dimension' button

This will turn the cursor into a crosshair.
When you hover over a mesh then you will see a red dot which indicates where it is measuring from. You must click on meshes to measure (you can adjust it later).
Click once on a mesh then you will see a dimension form to where you click a second time. The axis chosen is the largest magnitude between the two points. (For example if the difference in Z is larger than X it will use Z). If it is not following your desired axis, then just create a dimension in the axis you want as the start/end points can be adjusted after.
After your second click the dimension will offset following your mouse (like CAD) and then click a third time to set the dimension in place.
The dimension is then editable/stylable same as a regular dimension with the added bonus of being able to drag the start and end points.
All custom dimensions can be seen in the 'Custom' tab on the Right Bar dimension panel.
